The site affords peace and tranquillity, with the added bonus of superb panoramic views and level pitches. It is ideal for a prolonged holiday, or a one night stop over.
The park is situated within Cranborne Chase, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), about six miles SSW of the medieval city of Salisbury, on the edge of the village of Coombe Bissett. It is set high on the 135m contour line, facing south, in the midst of the rolling Wiltshire chalk downs, which are intersected by many paths and bridleways.
